Frequently Asked Questions
Premium Eye Care »Have a question?
Here are some of the most popular questions about our eye-care services, insurance plans, and office locations. Read below to know more.
What can I expect from my eye exam?
We may dilate your eyes with dilating drops to make your pupils larger during an eye exam. This gives our doctors a better view of the internal structure of your eye. When your pupils are dilated, you will be more sensitive to light, and your vision may be blurry. Bring sunglasses to your exam to help reduce glare and light sensitivity after you leave.
We use special equipment during the exam to accurately diagnose and treat most eye conditions. These tests are painless and only take a few minutes.
Does my insurance plan cover eye exams?
Most vision insurance plans provide one to two comprehensive eye examinations a year. If you do not have vision insurance, Premium Eye Care offers exceptional discounts for those without insurance. Please contact us if you need to find out which plans we accept.
Do I need an appointment?
Yes, you need an appointment to be seen by a doctor. Both of our locations offer online appointment booking, and all of our forms are online. This allows patients to fill out forms at home while waiting for their appointment. Having an appointment only ensures that you will be seen and treated by one of our doctors.
